easyliving melbourne started in 2004 with a stubbornly simple idea: finding a furnished place to live shouldn't take weeks of inspections, empty rooms and awkward bond disputes.
back then, before "flexible living" was a category anyone had named, we were furnishing houses in St Kilda and handing people keys without the usual rigmarole. two decades on we're still family-run out of Balaclava, looking after 50+ dwellings across St Kilda, St Kilda East, Balaclava and Elwood, all within a few minutes of the beach, the trams and the good coffee.
the formula never really changed. a real furnished home, a proper Victorian lease, a bond lodged with the RTBA, and a real human who actually gets back to you. what changed was everything around us. renting in Melbourne got harder, slower and a lot less fun, so we went the other way.
we're specialists in flexible, medium-term furnished stays: typically three to twelve months, with a three-month minimum. that's a deliberate sweet spot: long enough to feel like home, short enough to keep life flexible. it suits working professionals, relocators, working-holiday travellers and longer-stay students from Monash, Melbourne Uni, RMIT and Deakin.
